The RCIA Program  (Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults)

RCIA is the process of welcoming children who are 8 or older and adult newcomers (inquirers) into the Roman Catholic Church. This program is usually held from September until the Easter Vigil or Pentecost The process is adapted to meet the needs of participants who:

• have not been baptized.
• were baptized in the Roman Catholic Church but have not been evangelized/catechized and have not received the Sacrament of Confirmation yet.
• were baptized in another Christian Church but are in need of further instruction & initiation.
